Subscribers may now access the database via http://isiknowledge.com/.

You may download the Journal of Scitation Reports 2009 (in Excel 2007) provided that you have subscribed the contents.

The report is also available as a Google spreadsheet.

Subscribed users can now access the new database from ISI Web of Knowledge.

JCR is a measure of the quality and popularity of a certain journal among the scientific research community. A direct evaluation can be derived from the impact factor, which is defined as the ratio of (number of citations):(number of publications) on a two-year basis. As a glimpse, the multi-discipline journals, Nature and Science own the impact factor of 31.4 and 28.1,respectively, according to the JCR 2008 database.

The data have been compiled in a PDF file. Please use it for educational purpose only.
